FRANCISCO CASAROTTI

 

Francisco Casarotti is a self-taught pianist and composer based in Montreal, Quebec. Originally from Argentina, he moved to Canada with his family when he was just 12 years old.

 

His journey into the world of music began early in life when he taught himself how to play the guitar and drums. However, it wasn't until he turned 18 that he discovered the piano and instantly fell in love with its beautiful sound, making it his favorite instrument.

 

Driven by the need to express his thoughts and emotions, he began composing music in his late 20s. Two years passed before the unique circumstances of a pandemic lockdown finally encouraged him to share his own work. In 2020, he released four singles that contributed to start building his name in the modern classical scene.

 

Francisco draws inspiration from nature and his life experiences, with influences from artists like Ludovico Einaudi, Joep Beving, and Alexis Ffrench.
